Dipo Ola for Cool America Magazine

This shoot was designed and photographed for a coverage of actor, Dipo Ola, discussing his career and life. This feature can be found in a 2021 edition of Cool America Magazine.

The Story

A caravan, an autumn day and Bohemia. This was the stage set for me when designing for this cover shoot. It was wonderful working with a team that immediately understood what was needed to capture the essence of Dipo Ola. We immediately fell in love with the location and brought together visuals that we believed would work within the space.

I had a lot to play with in terms of creating specific areas within such a tight space however we were able to match each scene with the styling choices to create a wonderful narrative each time. The set was inspired by retro funk and disco in 70s-80s America whilst keeping a cosy autumnal vibe all around.
